How the apps work together

The BSS B2B suite has three apps. Each one owns a clear part of the B2B journey, so you can start with one and add the others when you need them.

Collection for a logged-in wholesale customer: every product at $20.00 with the retail price struck through

Quick Order page on the storefront: filters, product search, Bulk Import and a row per product with quantity and Add to cart

Storefront collection for a guest: Login to View Price replaces each price

Register → Approve → Tag → Price → Unlock → Order

  1. Register. A buyer fills in a wholesale registration form built in BSS B2B Solution.
  2. Approve. You approve the application. On approval, BSS B2B Solution adds the tags you configured on the form (for example wholesale).
  3. Price. BSS B2B Solution pricing rules that target that tag start to apply: custom prices, volume tiers, price lists.
  4. Unlock. BSS B2B Lock rules that target the same tag unlock wholesale collections, pages or prices for that customer.
  5. Order. BSS B2B Quote gives the buyer a fast way to order at those prices: a Quick Order page, CSV upload, a quote request, or reordering a past order.

The customer tag is the link between the apps. Use the same tag names everywhere and keep them consistent (tags are matched as text, so Wholesale and wholesale-tier-1 are different tags).

Wholesale store with public retail prices : BSS B2B Solution for wholesale pricing and registration, BSS B2B Lock to hide wholesale collections from guests.

B2B-only store : BSS B2B Lock to lock the entire store for non-approved visitors, BSS B2B Solution registration so new buyers can apply.

Negotiated pricing : BSS B2B Solution for base B2B prices, BSS B2B Quote Request for Quote for deals on top of those prices.
