Example 1: Hide COD for Orders Over $500 (Checkout Scope)

1. Rule scope: Checkout - Hide Payment Methods.
2. Click + Add condition → select Cart total.
3. Set condition: Cart total is greater than 500.
4. Select Hide specific methods → Standard Checkout Methods.
5. Check Cash on Delivery (COD).
6. Click Save.

Result: Customers with a cart over $500 will not see the COD option at checkout.

Example 2: Hide Accelerated Buttons on PDP & Cart for Wholesale (Scope: Product & Cart)

1. Click + Add condition → select Customer tag.
2. Set condition: Customer has tag ‘wholesale’.
3. Select Hide specific methods → Express Checkout Methods.
4. Check ‘Buy It Now’, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, PayPal Express.
5. Create one rule with the scope Storefront - Hide Accelerated Checkout Buttons on Product Page and a second one with … on Cart (each rule has one scope).
6. Click Save.

Result: Wholesale buyers do not see ‘Buy It Now’ on product pages or express buttons in the cart drawer, ensuring they proceed through the standard cart flow where B2B tiered pricing, MOQ, and tax rules apply.

Example 3: Keep Bank Transfers for Wholesale Only (Checkout Scope)

1. Rule scope: Checkout - Hide Payment Methods.
2. Click + Add condition → select Customer tag, operator Contain, value retail.
3. Select Hide specific methods → Standard Checkout Methods → check Bank Deposit and Wire Transfer.
4. Click Save.

Result: Customers tagged retail pay by card or express methods; bank and wire transfers stay available to your wholesale customers.

Managing Existing Rules

From the Checkout locks list in the app:

• Edit a rule: Click the pencil icon in the Actions column.

• Delete a rule: Click the trash icon. This cannot be undone.

• Enable or disable: Open the rule and use the On/Off toggle at the top.

• Update logic: Re-open the rule, change conditions or actions, and click Save.
