Can I test BSS B2B Solution on a Shopify development store?
Short answer: Yes. A Shopify development store can apply for a free Development plan and use every feature while you build or test.
How to apply
Section titled “How to apply”- Open the app on your development store.
- On a new install, the Choose a plan step shows the Development plan application. On an installed app, open Pricing plans and click Apply for Development plan.
- Tell us who will test the app and why, then click Send request.
Once our team approves the request, you can use all features for free, including the Public API.
Why don’t I see the free trial button?
Section titled “Why don’t I see the free trial button?”Paid plans can’t be started on a Shopify development store, so the trial button is not shown. The Development plan application appears instead.
How long until my request is approved?

How long does the Development plan last?
Section titled “How long does the Development plan last?”It stays active while the store is a Shopify development store, and you are not billed for it.
What happens when the store goes live or moves to a client?
Section titled “What happens when the store goes live or moves to a client?”The Development plan ends automatically when the store moves to a paid Shopify plan, usually after transfer to a client. The store then moves to the Free plan. Your rules and settings are kept, and the app shows a notice on the dashboard and on Pricing plans.
Paid features stop on the storefront until you choose a paid plan. To use a Development plan again, you need to apply again.
Who can use the Development plan?
Section titled “Who can use the Development plan?”Stores that Shopify marks as development stores. For a store on a paid Shopify plan, choose a plan on Pricing plans.
