Validate Sender Email on GoDaddy

Step 1: Access DNS Settings

Section titled “Step 1: Access DNS Settings”
  1. Log in to your GoDaddy account.
  2. From the main dashboard, go to My Products → Domains.
  3. Click DNS next to the domain you want to edit.

Step 2: Add DKIM Record

Section titled “Step 2: Add DKIM Record”
  1. Click Add New Record.
  2. Choose Type: TXT.
  3. In Host, paste the Host Name provided in the app (e.g., bssemail._domainkey).
  4. In Value, paste the DKIM value shown in your app.
  5. Leave TTL as default (e.g., 1 hour).
  6. Click Save.

Step 3: Add SPF Record

Section titled “Step 3: Add SPF Record”
  1. Add another TXT record.
  2. In Host, enter @.
  3. In Value, paste your SPF record (e.g., v=spf1 include:mailgun.org ~all).
  4. Click Save.

Step 4: Verify

Section titled “Step 4: Verify”

Return to your BSS B2B Solution app and click Verify.
If the setup is correct, the status will change to ✅ Verified within a few minutes (in some cases, it can take up to 24 hours for DNS propagation).

If verification doesn’t complete within 24 hours:

  • Double-check that your Host and Value fields match exactly.
  • Confirm you didn’t create duplicate SPF records.
